KARACHI – Gold rates have been on steady uptrend for quite some time mostly driven by macroeconomic uncertainties, soaring inflation, and other factors.
Data shared by Sarafa Association shows price of gold moving up by Rs2,100 rupees per tola. With the hike, the price of single tola of gold reached Rs273,400.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of bullion climbed by Rs1,800, bringing it to Rs234,396.

On the other hand, the global market saw increase in prices, with gold per ounce increasing by $21, now hovering at $2,622.
Saturday’s price hike follows two-day decline of Rs4,600 per tola, marking a sharp reversal in the gold market.
