Bankers Avenue Housing Society Lahore’s office sealed

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday sealed Bankers Avenue Co-operative Housing Society’s office for violation of approved plan.

The said society on Baidian Road had allowed encroachments on public building sites by amending the LDA approved plan.

LDA Director of Private Housing Schemes Assad Ullah Cheema supervised the operation which was carried out after serving several notices.

Meanwhile, the LDA teams sealed 17 buildings in Gulberg for not paying commercialization fees. LDA Director Town Planning Zone-III Sidra Tabassum carried out the operation with the help of enforcement teams and the Police.

Per the LDA officials, several notices were issued to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against illegal housing schemes, violation of building bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
