Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon on Saturday said that Bank Islami would organize ‘Jashn-e-Azadi’ walk on August 12 in connection with 75th Independence Day celebrations.
He said this while chairing a meeting in his office to review the arrangements being made to mark 75th Independence Day with great national zeal.
On this occasion, Marketing Head Syed Fahad Bin Tariq, Faizan Yousaf, Commissioner Karachi Sports Coordinator Ghulam Mohammad Khan, Assistant General Commissioner Abid Qamar Sheikh, and Assistant Commissioner Administration Ijaz Hussain were also present.
Memon said, “I am grateful to Bank Islami President Syed Amir Ali and the entire bank management for sponsoring the 75th Independence Day celebrations in the city.”
The commissioner said that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, and Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput desperately wanted that the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Independence Day should be held in a grand manner in Sindh. Commissioner Karachi assured the delegation of Bank Ismail that his office would fully cooperate in organizing the Independence Day walk in a dignified manner.—APP
