KARACHI: The wedding of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, a daughter of former president Asif Ali Zardari, and Dubai-based business tycoon Mahmood Chaudhry is less than a week away, and final plans for the marriage function has been unveiled.

A spokesperson of the Bilawal House said that a Milad ceremony will be arranged on January 24 before the wedding events kick-off.

Mehndi function will take place on Jan 27 while Nikkah ceremony will be held on Jan 29 with Barat on next day, Jan 30.

Around 1,000 guests including key political and military leaders, and judiciary heads, have been invited to attend the function. Meanwhile, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will not take part in any political activity for a week due to his sister’s wedding to be held in Karachi.

The engagement of Bakhtawar and Mahmood Chaudhary took place on November 27, 2020, in an intimate ceremony at the Bilawal House.
