LAHORE – Pakistan Skipper Babar Azam said he is hopeful that Mohammad Rizwan would recover ahead of the upcoming series against Ireland.
Babar Azam highlighted the crucial role in the Pakistani team, acknowledging the potential impact of his absence.
While Rizwan, serving as both wicketkeeper and batsman, has not sustained any significant injuries, Azam said the importance of prioritizing his fitness for future matches.
Azam revealed that Rizwan would undergo rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy to expedite his recovery.
The skipper expressed his hope that the talented player would regain fitness before the much-anticipated series against Ireland.
