LAHORE – An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday indicted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi in a case related to setting Shadman police station on fire on May 9.
Judge Khalid Arshad of the Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore heard the case in Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore, where PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi was presented.
The court indicted Shah Mahmood Qureshi, but the PTI leader pleaded not guilty.
The court adjourned the hearing until July 22, and summoned the witnesses for the next session.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi was transferred from Adiala Jail to Lahore this morning under tight security.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi is facing several charges including the incident at Shadman police station on May 9.
The PTI leader was summoned for indictment proceedings earlier in the day at Kot Lakhpat Jail.
