Commanding Officer25 Sind Regiment Lieutenant Col Sher Alam Khan Thursday kicked-off anti-Polio campaign by giving polio drops to the children in the District Polio Control Room (DPCR) at the Deputy Commissioner Office.
The event was also attended by ADC Abdul Mateen Qasuria, District Health Officer Tank, Dr Ihsanullah Bhettani, DSP Headquarter Inam Gandapor and other health authorities.
On this occasion, the Commanding Officer 25 Sind Regiment Lieutenant Col Sher Alam Khan said that the Pak Army and FC South would provide optimum support to the local administration while all out efforts were being made to provide fool proof security to polio teams.
“Every child shall get polio drops during the campaign”, said DHO Ihsanullah and noted that above 76,000 children would be administered polio drops in Tank and Jandola sub-division during the polio campaign.
Meanwhile, Frontier Corps (FC) Sector Headquarters South (SHS) inaugurated another clean drinking water filtration plant here at a religious seminary Aahyaha Ul Aloom in Gara Baloch locality of the city.
