An anti-corruption and anti-bribery event was organized at Quaid-e-Azam Campus of Gomal University Dera Ismail Khan (GUD) on Saturday. Gomal University Dera (GUD) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shakib Ullah was the chief guest of the event, while he was accompanied by Assistant Director of Anti-Corruption Department, Saif Ur Rehman Baloch, Coordinator of Quaid-e-Azam Campus, Dr. Allah Noor, and heads of all departments were also present.
Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Gomal University Dera Ismail Khan (GUD) Professor Dr. Shakibullah said that the biggest reason for the downfall of institutions is corruption, against which we all have to fix ourselves first and then move forward, while this will lead to the development of the institutions as well as the country’s development, prosperity and its integrity.
He further said that since we belong to an educational institution, if we as teachers improve our educational system. He said, tomorrow, these young people who will study from here will be associated with an institution.
