Another Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight attendant, Maryam Raza, has gone missing upon the arrival of a PIA flight from Islamabad to Toronto, raising concerns about her whereabouts and safety. Maryam Raza, serving as a flight steward on PIA flight PK 782, was part of the flight crew en route from Islamabad to Toronto.
However, upon landing at Toronto airport, she inexplicably vanished, leaving behind a note in her room adorned with her uniform, expressing gratitude with the words ‘Shukria PIA’ (Thank you, PIA). Raza’s absence has sparked apprehension, particularly as she was scheduled to fulfill her duties on the return flight, PIA flight PK 784, destined for Karachi. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into the matter. This incident echoes a similar occurrence from the previous year when another PIA air steward vanished after flight PK-798 landed in Toronto, underscoring the airline’s ongoing challenges and the need for enhanced security measures to safeguard its personnel.
