The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted six successful operations against drug smuggling, resulting in the seizure of 133 kilograms of narcotics and the arrest of three suspects.
According to a statement issued from ANF headquarters in Rawalpindi, two operations at Islamabad Airport led to the confiscation of 1 kilogram of heroin from passengers traveling to Sharjah and Jeddah.
In Rawalpindi, two parcels sent from the UK via courier services were intercepted, yielding 236 grams of weed. Additionally, 125 kilograms of ice were seized from Gwadar.
In Tando Jam, Hyderabad, a suspect was apprehended with 2 kilograms of opium and 5 kilograms of charas. A spokesperson stated that cases have been registered against the arrested individuals under the Anti-Narcotics Act, initiating further investigations.
