London
Amir Khan and his family were involved in a car crash on a UK motorway after the boxer lost control of his vehicle on the wet surface and crashed it into a barrier.
The boxer recalled the incident like ‘being hit with a combo’. The 33-year-old former boxing world champion, who was accompanied by his wife Faryal Makhdoom and daughter Lamaisah, fortunately escaped injury after the car did a 360 on the southbound carriageway of the motorway.
According to Khan, the family was headed to London for a TV show. Posting images on social media of the aftermath of the collision, he informed his fans that no one was hurt. ‘Alhamdulillah everyone’s safe. Lamaisah was asleep at the time in the back of the car but she’s okay. Faryal was sitting in the front with me, she’s okay too. More shocked than anything, the car looks very bad — the front, sides back are all damaged.—Agencies
