Deputy Commissioner Badin, Dr. Hafeez Ahmed Siysal, on the other day reviewed arrangements being finalized for Eid Milad un Nabi (SAW) on 12th Rabi ul Awal. Chairing a meeting held here at Darbar Hall, Badin, Dr. Siyal said, all out efforts should be made by all the departments concerned to ensure security of the faithful adding that the Standard Operating Procedure formulated by the Sindh Government would be implemented in letter and spirit so that law and order situation could be ensured on 12 Rabi ul Awal.
The meeting was attended by District Officer, Planning and Development, Dr. Ali Nawaz Bhoot, Additional Deputy Commissioner-I, Ghulam Abbas Memon, Additional Deputy Commissioner-II, Babar Nizamani, Administrator Municipal Committee Badin and Assistant Commissioner Badin, Unis Rind, Ulemas of Badin and officials of other departments concerned.
DC Badin directed to the Assistant Commissioners of all Talukas of Badin district and administrators of Town Committees to make assure the cleanness of all streets and roads of their concerned cities and towns on the day of Eid-ul- Milad Nabi including lightening of cities and assure the provision of potable water to the citizens.
DC Badin said that all arrangements would be finalized within few days in the district to provide foolproof security to all the religious processions of the district. Dr. Hafeez Ahmed expressed that all Ulemas and religious scholars of different sects were also being taken on board to promote religious harmony in the district Badin.
The DC urged the Ulemas, religious scholars and citizens to play a role in maintaining law and order and religious harmony on 12 Rabi ul Awal adding that district administration under its security strategy will make concerted efforts with the help of other departments.
