AIChE organizes seminar on ‘harnessing artificial intelligence’

American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Students Chapter on Tuesday organized a seminar on “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI): Integration in Chemical Process Optimization & Risk Management” at Punjab University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (ICET).

Chapter Advisor DrAyyaz Muhammad, WaqasMehmood Danish from AGM Safety, Packages Ltd. and senior production Engineer Ahmed Riaz Khan Fatima Fertilizer Multan, faculty members including DrMudassarAzam, DrUsman Rashid, EngrAbidMehmood and engineering students of faculty of chemical and materials engineering attended the seminar. Addressing the participants, the speakers delivered the valuable contents and experience of utilizing AI in chemical process industries with respect to process safety, risk management, process control and along with real-time case studies which not only saved man hours but also boosted industries in their production and significant increase in profit. The team of AIChE Student Chapter at ICET-PU was committed to provide students with holistic exposure through arranging the seminars related to modern industrial revolutions with state of the technologies, which would help to nurture an environment where students can thrive both academically and professionally.
