Agriculture program to improve socio economic condition of farmers

Director Agriculture Gujranwala Division Javed Iqbal has said that Prime Minister’s Agriculture Emergency Program of Rs. 3000 billion would not only improve socio economic condition of farmers but also increase pr acre agriculture yield to achieve goal of self-reliance in food production whereas goverment is focusing on this programme sincerely because prosperity of farmers links with progress and prosperity of the Pakistan.

He was addressing Famer’s Day arranged to impart training to cultivate oil seeds at village Madan Philla near Hafizabad. Deputy Director Agriculture Hafizabad Faiz Rasul and Assistant Director Agriculture Hafizabad Muhammad Yousaf were also addressed on this occasion.

He said that import of edible oil was eating a big portion of foreign exchange every year and we could save this big proton of foreign exchange to promote cultivation of sun flower and other oilseed crops.
