LAHORE – Pakistani actor and singer Agha Ali has confirmed the rumors of his separation from actress Hina Altaf, which had been circulating for two years, during a podcast.
The actor confirmed divorce in a podcast of another famous Actor Ahmed Ali Butt.
At the start of the interview, Ahmed Ali Butt referred to Agha Ali as a “happily divorced man,” to which Agha Ali laughed and responded, “You just knocked someone off their high stage.”
Confirming his divorce, Agha Ali stated that it was a very difficult decision and something he had never imagined in his life. He expressed gratitude that their separation would not cause any difficulties for another child. He recalled that his father passed away when he was five years old, so he understands how a child can struggle without their parents. He thanked his stars that this is not the case.
Agha further mentioned in the podcast that any relationship you choose to enter should be nurtured with full effort and prayers. However, if things are not progressing in the right direction, it is better to end the relationship.
The actor emphasized that the good thing is that they will never stop respecting each other, which is crucial because often, when relationships end, people lose respect for one another, leading to hatred. When relationships end poorly, it breeds resentment and animosity.
Agha Ali and Hina Altaf got married in May 2020 while rumors of their separation began circulating in 2022 which Agha Ali had previously denied.
In August of this year, morning show host Madiha Naqvi also mentioned the divorce of Agha Ali and Hina Altaf on her show, but later retracted her statement, saying she had misspoken.
