Aftab emphasizes effective delivery of Punjab Govt’s welfare measures

Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and Convener of the District Coordination Committee Attock, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, underscored the importance of ensuring that the welfare measures initiated by the Punjab government effectively reach the populace. He stated this during his chairmanship of a meeting of the District Coordination Committee held at the DC office.

The meeting saw the participation of notable figures including Provincial Assembly member Malik Itibar Khan, former Provincial Assembly member and PML-N leader Malik Iftikhar Khan, Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza, DPO Attock Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan, PML-N leader Malik Hameed Akbar Khan, former Chairman Municipal Committee Attock Nasir Mahmood Sheikh, District President Nawaz League Attock Saleem Shahzad, Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Nausheen Asrar, Assistant Commissioners, and other relevant officers.

Sheikh Aftab Ahmed highlighted the unprecedented and historic strides being made by both the federal and provincial governments towards public development and welfare. He noted a decrease in the prices of essential commodities, attributing it to the government’s efforts.

Livestock markets were a focal point of discussion during the meeting, with assurances that such markets would soon be established, adhering to Congo virus prevention protocols, and providing necessary facilities to both livestock owners and buyers.
