Additional Secretary Higher Education, Punjab, Tariq Hameed Bhatti visited Govt. Gordon College, Raawalpindi and inspected the quarantine centre established at the college. He was accompanied by Director Colleges Sher Ahmed Satti and other officials of the department
On this occasion, Principal Gordon College Altaf Hussain briefed the visiting official about the 50-bed quarantine facility and other arrangements to deal with any emergency situation.
The Additional Secretary lauded the efforts of the college administration and made some suggestions for further improvements.
Govt. Gordon College has converted its student hostel into a 50-bed quarantine centre in the wake of situation arising out of coronavirus outbreak in the country.
