Deputy Commissioner, Shaheed Benazirabad, Abrar Ahmed Jaffar on Tuesday warned that elements involved in spreading religious hatred and disturbing law and order situation in the district would face strict legal action. He expressed these views while chairing a meeting with ulema of different sects to discuss religious harmony and maintaining law and order in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner said that some elements are attempting to spread religious hatred against whom strict action would be initiated. He urged Ulema to desist from doing hate speech and spread such speeches. He said that hatred creating posts shall not share on social media in any shape.
DC further said that district administration in coordination with law enforcing agencies are keeping a tight vigil on elements involved in spreading religious hatred.
