ACE arrests Patwari on corruption charges

The anti-corruption establishment (ACE) has started operation against corrupt elements and arrested four government officials including Patwari, assistant and senior clerk for taking bribe on Thursday.
According to DG Anti-Corruption, an assistant Abrar Hussain,in the community and works department, received a bribe of Rs 200,000 by swindling him out of a job.
Anti-Corruption Lahore Region A arrested the assistant for taking bribe.
Anti-Corruption Faisalabad arrested Superintendent Building Javed for taking Rs 25,000 bribe and registered a case.
Anti-Corruption Gujranwala arrested a senior clerk of the Metropolitan Corporation with 10,000 bribes.
Anti-Corruption Sahiwal arrested Saeed Jan Patwari for accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 and registered a case. DG Anti-Corruption says that crackdown on black sheep will continue across Punjab.
