The Accountability Court of Islamabad on Tuesday instructed the National Accountability Bureau to provide a report ahead of the upcoming hearing in the Tosha Khana reference involving former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Yusuf Raza Gilani, and President Asif Ali Zardari.

During the proceedings presided over by Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana, NAB sought additional time to furnish the required report to the court. NAB Prosecutor Azhar Maqbool explained that Nawaz Sharif had expressed his willingness to participate in the investigation, but due to the unavailability of the investigating officer, a report outlining the feasibility of proceeding with the case needs to be submitted.

Accepting NAB’s request, Judge Nasir Javed Rana adjourned the hearing of the Tosha Khana vehicle case until April 17, allowing time for the submission of the report. According to the NAB reference presented in the accountability court, Yusuf Raza Gilani stands accused of allegedly allocating vehicles to Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif unlawfully. The reference alleges that both Zardari and Sharif acquired cars from Tosha Khana by paying only 15% of the total price.
