A trader in the New Sabzi Mandi has on Monday been robbed of Rs 1.5 million at gunpoint soon as he stepped outside the bank with the payment.
The suspects mugged the victim of Rs 1,500,000, after wielding a gun at him when he came out of the bank, and ran away with the stolen money.
The market committee official told police of the incident and confirmed the suspects fled the scene soon after the robbery.
According to the details, the police have booked the case against unknown suspects on the complaint of the victim but there has not been any development on the identities and whereabouts of them.
