FLORIDA – Elon Musk’s SpaceX is all set to launch last mission of year 2024 to the space on Tuesday (tomorrow, the international media reported on Monday.

The Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink broadband internet satellites would launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space in Florida on December 31st at 12: 34am.

The launch’s live webcast would start approximately five minutes before the liftoff while the viewers would be able to watch it on SpaceX’s website and on X, previously known as Twitter.

In a bid to expand Starlink’s global network,  89 out of 134 launches were ensured this year.

Starlink is now the largest satellite network in history which is continuing to grow.

According to the satellite tracker and astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell, there are currently more than 6,850 active Starlink satellites in space.
