Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Dr. Asad Majeed Khan has said that peace in South Asia is related to peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue. India is committing serious and blatant violations of human rights in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The US-Pakistan alliance has achieved significant results in the region, and the progress in peace efforts in Afghanistan is an example of Pak-US cooperation.

Dr. Asad Majeed Khan also drew the attention of the participants to the serious human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir and the extremist Hindutva thinking of India. India’s brutal behavior and state repression in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have not only exacerbated the situation but also threatened the peace of the entire region.India is pursuing a nefarious agenda of depriving Kashmiris of their basic rights and identity.
