9 arrested for kite flying, kite selling

The police separately arrested nine persons for kite selling and kite flying and also seized more than 5000 kites.

According to the police on Monday during a drive against kite sellers/flyers, the Rangpura police arrested a kite seller, Ihtsham alias Chand, from Akhara Shahid Pehlwan with 2960 kites however, his unidentified accomplice managed to flee.

The Rangpura police also arrested Ahsan Javed alias Bhalla with 2000 kites, Haider Ali with 10 kites and Raju with 9 kites. The Uggoki police arrested Ali Raza and Mohsin Ali with 410 kites and 45 roles of string, the Sadder Sialkot police held Rana Fahad with 15 kites.
