At least six people including children and a woman died in separate rain related collapse incidents in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday. According to details, dilapidated roof of a house located in Sakhakot area of Malakand caved in as heavy rain lashed the area during last two days. Four people including mother and three children were trapped under the debris and died before they could be rescued. Two people died in another roof collapse incident in Zamindara area of district Lower Dir. The bodies of both incidents were retrieved after removing the rubble and shifted to hospital where they were handed over to heirs for burial. A six year old boy crushed to death while his brother and sister sustained injuries as the roof of the house caved in after heavy rain on last Friday night. According to Rescue 1122 sources, three kids of Mushtaq including Dilawar, Usman and Shanza residents of Bangla Shah Trhsil Kot Addu District Muzaffargarh were sleeping in the house when the roof of the house caved in after heavy rain. As a result of the mishap, Dilawar (6) died at spot while his three year old brother Usman and minor sister Shanza sustained serious injuries.
