Under economic transformation initiatives, over 50,000 barren land in Gilgit Baltistan is being made cultivable.
More than 12 billion rupees will be spent on this seven-year long comprehensive agriculture development project.
According to details, out of 76 schemes, 47 irrigation schemes of the project have been completed with an amount of Rs5.35b.
