Akhunzada Fazle Haq Mardan
Four of the victims of the Murree tragedy were from Mardan. Who were cousins and best friends. Funerals of the four were performed in their native areas. When the bodies arrived, there was chaos in the area. Even death could not separate the friends. Two cousins were buried beside each other.
According to the details, four friends of Mardan were also among those who died for travel and entertainment. Muhammad Bilal, who lost his life in the tragedy, had come from Karachi and along with other friends Sohail, Bilal and Asad had gone for a walk in Murree on Friday. We did a lot of sightseeing in Murree. He also made Salafis and went viral on social media but he did not know that this would be the last Salafi of his life. Sohail’s funeral prayer was offered at 11 o’clock Mian Issa Lund Khur, Bilal’s funeral prayer was offered at 2 o’clock in Charchur Katling while Asad and Muhammad Bilal Hussain’s funeral prayer was offered at 3:30 in Taza Gram Katling. And buried in their respective local cemeteries.
The funeral prayer was attended by hundreds of people besides Provincial Assembly members Zahir Shah Toro, Malik Shaukat, Chairman Tehsil Katling Mufti Hammadullah and former provincial minister Hafiz Akhtar Ali. Asad was the only brother of seven sisters and had a young son. His father is a tractor driver while Sohail was employed in a private cable network and father of two children. The three were cousins. Even death could not separate them and they were buried side by side.
