Three young labourers including a 10-year-old child were crushed to death by a mudslide while digging a well in Mailsi. The rescuers on Sunday pulled out the bodies of the labourers from the well with the help of local people after a hectic 19-hour long rescue operation.
The bodies have been handed over to the heirs. Poverty drove the ill-fated young labouers to come out of their home and eke out their living. But the death did not let them go back. —INP
