DIG Hazara Mirvais Niaz on the recommendation of the promotion committee has promoted 27 ASI’s to the post of SI here on Wednesday.
Meeting of the promotion committee was held here chaired by the DPO Abbottabad Babar Zahoor Afridi with other members and cases of the candidates from all over the Hazar were discussed in length.
Among the probables, 5 from Haripur district, 1 from Abbottabad,6 from Mansehra, 4 from Battagram, 4 from Torghar ,1 from Kohistan , 5 from CTDD and 1 from Anti corruption were promoted.
Later DIG HAZARA Mirvais Niaz addressed the newly promoted staff and had also distributed certificates and cash awards among the police officers.
