Karachi has seen a 20% increase in social crime this year while more than 10,000 complaints have been registered. The annual report by the FIA Cyber Crime Wing states that more than 10,000 cyber crime complaints have been registered in Shar-e-Quaid this year, which is 20 percent more than last year. According to FIA Additional Director Cyber Crime Faizullah Korejo, online shopping has led to an increase in cyber crime cases. He said that so far the FIA has not paid. There are 45 cases of forgery registered.
