Awami Muslim League chief and former federal interior minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that this sixteen-month long assembly would be remembered as the ‘anti-democracy and anti-people’. Taking to Twitter, he said Thursday that in the name of Allah, masses get rid of the anti-people government which ruled the country for 16 months. The assembly was formed in Sindh House through buying and selling of the members, he claimed.
The former minister without naming Shehbaz Sharif criticized him and said that he became the Prime Minister (PM) on the day when his indictment was due. They abolished their cases and did nothing but to deliver speeches, pictures and admiration, he said adding they had banned the media.
He said they could not finalize the name of the caretaker PM. By making the assembly a bill producing factory, he said the outgoing rulers had passed 121 bills in a day, put ‘innocent workers’ behind the bars, increased the prices of electricity and flour as well.
The minister said today world acknowledged that cypher was a reality but the American spokesman was not ready to talk about the cipher documents. He said the rulers had also made the cypher a joke. He said that the rulers had come to power to lift people out of poverty, however, they did otherwise and made the public life miserable.—INP
