Work from home, online classes ordered in Dubai after latest UAE weather update

UAE weather update: Authorities in Dubai and other emirates of the UAE have issued directives for work from home for offices and online classes for schools due to prediction of strong winds and heavy rains.

The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology in its forecast said, “Fresh to strong at times winds with speed of 70 km/hr and rough to very rough sea at times with wave height reaching 11 Ft at times offshore in Arabian Gulf from 18:35 Monday 15/04/2024 till 18:35 Tuesday 16/04/2024”.

Keeping in view the weather forecast, authorities in Dubai has directed the offices to adopt the work from home policy temporarily while schools have been directed to start online classes for students instead of physical classes.

They also asked the motorcyclists to avoid unnecessary travel due to the uncertain change in weather conditions.

Reports said schools in Dubai have informed the parents of students about online classes. Furthermore, emergency police and transport authorities have started taking measures to ensure safety of public.
