LAHORE – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reiterated on Saturday that Pakistan will not allow any conspiracy to harm its friendship with China.

He expressed it during a meeting with Zhao Shiren, the Chinese Consul General in Lahore, during his visit to the consulate.

During the meetings, matters related to mutual interest and security of Chinese nationals in Pakistan were discussed. The interior minister informed him about the measures being taken to ensure the security of the Chinese citizens.

“Safety of Chinese nationals in Pakistan is our national responsibility,” Naqvi said, adding that all relevant departments had been directed to ensure the security of the Chinese citizens. He said no stone will be left unturned to ensure the protection of them.
