LAHORE – The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) expressed a lack of confidence in Pakistan’s National Anti-Doping Agency, the latest reports said on Tuesday.
The WADA also placed Pakistan on a watch list and gave it four months to address the issues.
“Pakistan Anti-Doping Agency has not fully complied with WADA’s regulations, and six other countries have also been added to the watch list,” said WADA’s Executive Committee in a statement.
Countries placed on the watch list by WADA were directed to rectify matters by January 2025.
WADA also warned these countries that further action may be taken if they fail to implement the required measures in accordance with the WADA Code by the deadline.
