Ban VPNs
VPN is an app that allows a person to visit banned websites. Although such websites are banned in Pakistan yet are accessed easily with the help of VPNs. Government should order IT ministry to come out with proper and workable solutions so that no one can easily access such prohibited websites that could spoil our generations.

Smoking kills
According to current data smoking kills about 5m people in the world every year. The reason is tobacco smoke contains lots of harmful chemicals that cause serious damage to heart, blood vessels. Besides it also causes lung cancer and other ailments.
Many people have lung cancer or mouth cancer due to use of pan and cigarettes. In Pakistan more than 48% people smoke among them 70% suffer from many diseases and also become a source to give rise to many diseases around them. Hence, I request government to devise policies that help curtail smoking in the society.

Foreign policy
Pakistan-US relationship began long time ago and we have seen several times how serious tension emerged between the two countries on host of issues. Incidents like OBL operation caused mistrust between the two sides. Even in the FATF review meeting, US didn’t help Pakistan to come out of grey list. The aforementioned issues led Pakistan to rethink its dependence on US. When it comes to relations with Russia both countries didn’t enjoy good diplomatic relations in the past yet at present Pakistan-Russia ties have grown well and going steady.
I think it’s US withdrawal from Afghanistan which led Pakistan to rethink its foreign policy because the way US left Afghanistan was not expected, due to which humanitarian crisis and security threats to the region emerged. Pakistan is now helping Afghan refugees to overcome human catastrophe. Pakistan enjoys good relations with KSA and Iran. Pakistan once again diplomatically tried to engage both countries. Lastly the downward trend in our ties with neighbouring India.
Now Pakistan is urging India to resolve Kashmir issue so that our region could progress. If both countries start trade, it will have impact on regional prosperity. If both countries address aforementioned issues it will be beneficial. So there is a transition in foreign policy of Pakistan looking towards allies in the East as well, rather than only relying on the West. If Pakistan wants to realign its foreign policy it first needs to boost economy, as in modern era to build diplomatic relations with the world, strong economy is needed. Pakistan needs to enhance its outreach to other countries and regions to secure its foreign policy goals.

Chemicals in water
Kohi Goth is a small village located in Malir, with a large population. Despite not having electricity the major issue of this village is polluted water released by factories, which is flowing through this village and goes straight to other parts of city. Due to this hazardous water people are getting various types of skin and ENT diseases for last many years. Many people have died because of this harmful and dangerous water including children and old aged.
Local authorities are not attending to our complaints and that is disheartening. Therefore I appeal to higher authorities through your newspaper to help us as early as possible.

Unhygienic mess food
BZU Multan is among one of the largest universities in Pakistan. It compelled me to state that food being offered in university messes is unhygienic and lacks cleanliness. Large numbers of students live in hostels and eat from these messes. Very poor and substandard quality of chicken, vegetables, ghee, and spices are used. Especially situation in messes of Omar hall, Abubakar hall and Main cafeteria is dire. Furthermore, these messes and cafeteria are using ghee, oil and spices that were banned by Punjab food authority. Many a time they have been caught yet still they continue with the same. As a result many got ill yet no one is attending to these complaints. On the other hand, a high amount is charged monthly and that is sheer injustice with students. Concerned authorities and Punjab food authority is requested to take strict action against these messes and cafeterias.

Importance of language
Language is most important as we are communicating with each other and conveying thoughts and views. It is the only thing by which we build relationships and create sense of humanity. There are thousands of languages, but everyone loves their own mother tongues.
The importance of language is clear without it we human are unable to recognise ourselves and know others. Using language is successfully needed in the global world. Language influences to promote a society and advocate it further. Remember one thing language open the mind of people and makes them aware of their surroundings. It assists in the development of a person to make things occur. It is known to everybody that a language is a communication tool between family, friends, society, study groups and countries. We need to stand with confidence give respect to our languages. Without language we humans are purposeless to communicate with others.
