Composition of ECC
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) was reconstituted by the Prime Minister of Pakistan on 15 December 2020.
This was headed by Minister of Finance and Revenue with 13 ministers of various ministries and 24 members by special invitation that included Special Assistants and Secretaries of various ministries.
Somehow or the other there was no representation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs a serious defect ab initio while constituting the ECC.
Its non inclusion resulted in great embarrassment when ECC decision to import sugar, cotton yarn from India had to be reversed under sharp criticism by people due to non cooperative attitude of India towards Pakistan on the core issue of Kashmir and atrocities being committed by Indian troops and non stop curfew on Kashmiris since 5 August 2019 and changing the status of Kashmir by making it part of Indian Union illegally by annulling Articles 370 and 35-A.
With such sore relations with India that continuously is engaged in destabilising Pakistan by sending RAW agents to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistan, how come ECC could even think of importing goods from India.
It is argued if ECC had the representation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs this point could have never come on agenda.
Learning is an unending process it is hoped that ECC shall be reconstituted by including representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defence for taking their timely input to avoid future embarrassments

Poverty in Balochistan

Violating SOPs
The cases of Coronavirus is increasing rapidly in the country because of the people’s careless behaviour.
More than four thousand cases are reported in Pakistan on a daily basis and it is alarming situation, but still the people are continuing to ignore SOPs, which is very shocking.
On the other hand, worldwide, more than two and half million people have lost their precious life due to this virus, then why are we violating SOPs? As a result, the situation went out of control.
Now we should be more serious in this regard and should be strict to follow the SOPs and save our lives from the deadly virus.

Beauty of failure
Life is full of ups and downs and in other words life is about ups and downs. A true person who has a goal in his life, is one who remains consistent despite failure.
Failure is beautiful because it helps you to repair or improve yourself after telling you that you need improvement in this area or that.
If you are not able to achieve your goal even after improvement in weak areas but failure would surely make you a better human being by making you strong and able to face more hurdles of life.
This is the beauty of failure. So despite getting depressed be strong and remain consistent toward your goal with more hard work, passion and brave heart.

Adapting to the new lifestyle
Never would have anyone thought of an era of the present time – the world working and dependent on machines.
A time where machines and technology are a preference. The rise in the usage of technology was evident in 2020 when the spread of COVID-19 took over the world and led the people in a different direction.
Be it education, business, entertainment, work life or marketing, all have made their way into the online world.
The heavy lockdown all over the world proved that the existence of technology is of great benefit along with that it has also showed that in any case of emergency or a pandemic the world can still operate.
The change in the schooling system is one of the biggest changes during this pandemic as before this the usage of internet was restricted to news and entertainment mostly, but ever since the pandemic came, online schooling reached its peak.
