Stuck elevator

The Pakistan Army has achieved a commendable feat by efficiently rescuing seven children and a teacher who were stranded in a chairlift mishap in Battagram. The incident occurred as the chairlift, carrying the students and their teacher to Alai Pashtu school, experienced a breakdown when two out of three cables snapped, leaving the lift suspended on a lone cable. This precarious situation left the elevator hanging at an altitude of around 2,000 meters, rendering local efforts futile.

Promptly responding to the crisis, the Pakistan Army orchestrated a complex and challenging rescue mission. Led by Major General Adil Rahmani of the Special Services Group, the operation involved a display of exceptional skill and performance from both the army and air force pilots. Notably, the army also enlisted the expertise of a local cable specialist to ensure the success of the rescue operation. The collaboration extended to civil administration and local residents who actively participated in the endeavour.

In recognition of the valiant efforts of all those involved, including officers, personnel, volunteers and local participants, Prime Minister, Anwaarul Haq Kakar, extended his gratitude. He highlighted that the collective actions saved the lives of these eight individuals and underscored the significance of such cooperative endeavours.

Nevertheless, amidst the positive outcome, it’s disheartening to observe certain individuals associated with a political party resorting to social media platforms to criticize the Pakistan Army. Such actions, particularly during times of crisis, are unwarranted and counterproductive. It’s crucial to acknowledge that the province where this incident unfolded has been under the governance of the same party for a decade, highlighting the challenges faced by inhabitants in mountainous areas.

Classroom learning

The child learning in classroom is a subject of great importance. While some argue that traditional classroom settings are outdated and ineffective, others firmly believe that they remain essential for a child’s intellectual, social and emotional development.

This aims to explore significance of child learning in classroom and highlight benefits of this traditional approach in shaping well-rounded individuals capable of contributing positively to society.

One of the primary advantages of child learning in the classroom is the opportunity for face-to-face interaction with peers and teachers. Human beings are social animals and the classroom setting provides a unique platform for children to develop essential social skills. Through group discussions, teamwork and classroom activities, children learn how to communicate effectively, respect diverse perspectives and collaborate with others. These interpersonal skills are not only crucial for academic success but also for traversing life beyond the school environment.

The classroom offers a structured learning environment where children can focus on their studies without the distractions often present at home or in unstructured settings. With clear routines, set schedules and academic goals, children can develop self-discipline and time management skills. The presence of a knowledgeable teacher also allows for immediate clarification of doubts and guidance through difficult concepts, nurturing a deeper understanding.

Dilemmas of PCB

Cricket holds a special place in the hearts of many Pakistanis, often garnering tremendous excitement and enthusiasm. The sport has a deep cultural significance and a rich history in the country which contributes to the high level of passion and engagement among the Pakistani people.

The performances of the national cricket team as well as the popularity of domestic and international cricket tournaments further amplify the excitement and interest in the sport.

These days we all are very well aware of two big tournaments coming this year that boost up all the excitement in fans around the world and Pakistan Cricket Team being in 2nd Position in ODI format while 4th in T20 holds significant importance in these tournaments. But lately we’ve seen Pakistan Cricket struggling with two dilemmas, Rotation Policy and Workload Management for the bowlers. In recent times, we cracked the code of rotation among bowlers with very few matches. In home season, we utilized as many bench options and got decent backup for our Ace leggie & quick bowlers.

Workload Management is still an issue. Some bowlers have been playing regularly since PSL and now they are at Vitality Blast. They have played test series & LPL in Sri Lanka, now they have one bilateral series with Afghanistan in conditions with high temperature and less rest time. Followed by 50-over Asia Cup & World Cup, a very important test series at end of year.

It’s a lot of cricket. Managing the workload of players before big tournaments is crucial to ensure their peak performance and minimize the risk of injuries. This involves a combination of factors, including monitoring their physical fitness, mental well-being and scheduling rest periods. Implementing proper training, recovery and nutrition plans can help balance their preparation without overburdening them. It’s also important to have open communication with players to address any concerns and make adjustments as needed.

Unsung heroes

To whom do we look forward at the last resort? Surely, our unsung heroes. The Pakistan Army has, recently, rescued the seven school children and one school teacher who were stuck in air at the height of 2,000 meters between two mighty mountains after breakage of the rope of the cable car.

Despite the hardship of weather, risk of mighty mountains and danger of high-altitude Pakistan Army Special Service Group rescued the children and a teacher very professionally. They are really those who have never disappointed the nation by emerging as a ray of hope even in the midst of darkness. Once again, our unsung heroes met our expectations by protecting the lives of the future of the nation after their unflinching and untiring attempts. We pay special tribute to them.

Unending pollution

There are many types of pollution like noise pollution, air pollution and water pollution. Pollution is basically the presence of harmful substances in the environment. Air is being polluted in many ways like smoke of vehicles, factories, cigarettes etc… Polluted air is very harmful for our health. Decrease in air pollution can be done by using the least private vehicles and using more public transport. Nowadays, noise pollution has also increased. It happens because of the noise of vehicles, factories and many more. It can be controlled by planting more trees, because trees absorb the noise. When people throw the trash in water or when oil tankers transport and some oil fell in water, so water is polluted. Many aquatic organisms die because of it. It can be controlled by humans. Humans should not throw trash in water, oil transporters should take care of these things, Hence all the pollution can be controlled and decreased by us.
