PM on the world stage
Apropos to PM Imran Khan’s recent day-long visit to Iran where he held important consultations with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. On his return from Iran, Prime Minister Imran Khan said it is important to articulate a message of unity and solidarity among the Muslim nations.
In recent years, the rivalry between Saudi Arabia and Iran has reached new heights. They are engaged in many conflicts against each other in the Middle East; these conflicts are proving instrumental in changing the nature of security and destabilisation of the region. Even the adjacent regions are also feeling the heat of their rivalry. The purpose of PM Khan’s visit is none other than bridging the vast chasms between Tehran and Riyadh. Given the prevailing hostility between the two states, many may say that the Pakistani PM has taken up a very ambitious project.
For it was the Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman who had asked the Pakistani Premier to mediate between Riyadh and Tehran. Pakistan had played the role of a mediator between Saudi Arabia and Iran in the past as well. However, this time, relations between two sides have gone sore to such an extent that any effort of normalisation will be an uphill task. What is worth appreciating is that leadership of both the countries want to end on-going rivalry. True, Imran and his Administration possess newfound confidence on world stage.

Terrorism against Kashmiris!
Since freedom from deceit British rulers (Hinduphobia) also, did/doing their best to eliminate Muslim community from India. They think their community is superior and have all-right to live in whole Hindustan. For this purpose they used/using every Changaze/Hitler like act for subjugating Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and even low-caste Hindus. And side-by-side; dancing for ‘Secularism’. Is it??
Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is an Article – stamped by UN in (her) 183rd session on 10 December 1948. This Article comprises on solid principles which protect basic rights irrespective of race, religion, sex, creed and colour. This codified document contributes to certain defined International Laws. All States are (bound) to formulate their constitution and laws under the aegis of these principles. Even then, terrorism of Indian Hindu is going on: raping 3-70yr; killing Muslims on the basis of cow-slaughtering (whereas; Hindus are owner of big-cow-slaughter-houses) and blinding through pallet-guns to Kashmiris!
In the 80s Hinduphobia raided on Golden Temple – sacred place of Sikhs – and crushed them inhumanly. Recently; Terrorist Modi also abrogated Articles 370 and 35-A which is (totally) against the principles of UN’s UDHR (+) written promises made on International Forums by their deceitful forefathers ‘Gandhi; Nehru! Unfortunately; laws and principles of UN could not be implemented fully – due to non-representation of Muslims at the UN. And honestly writing {mainly} Muslims are being crushed till now.
Because of personal interest/s of (some) UN members – Kashmir; Middle East (almost); Afghanistan and now threats to Iran are open examples! So, now, non-Hindus of India should not wait for implementation of UN’s UDHR (or; any other scheme). Enough is enough – raise hands towards Sky; get sword in hand and start ‘Azadi March’ jointly for getting rid of Hinduphobia – forever!!

Learning Sindhi
Sindhi language is one of the oldest languages of the subcontinent. According to Shamsul ulema Daudpota, it descended from the Virachada dialect of Prakrit. In the early stages it was written in ‘Marwari’ and ‘Devanagri’ script. Later, it came to be standardized in a script derived from Arabic. Sindhi is rich in mystic poetry and romantic tales and love stories.
There is a Welsh proverb, “a nation without language is a nation without heart.” It makes me sadden when people around me in Sindh speak English and Urdu instead of Sindhi language at schools, colleges, universities, offices and homes. Pakistan is multilingual and multicultural country and there is no harm to being bi-lingual and multi-lingual. Every language has its own cultural and linguistic value/charm.
Forlornly in Sindh, native speakers themselves are devastating their language by adopting second language as a means of communication. Even though it has not been taught in some private institutions lectures and other subject of study are given in English and Urdu language. Sindhi is lingua franca of Sindh from colonial times which now is being neglected completely. Private schools are also depriving their students of learning their first language.
If this system continues without any barricade and revitalization there would be a gradual death of Sindhi language likewise Sumerian and Cornish language. On the other hand in 1920 and 1940 the Ajawa language wiped out in Nigeria because entire speakers switched to ‘Hausa’ for economic and practical benefits. As a result the entire community stopped their traditional language. Same situation seems to be happening with Sindhi language as it happened with Ajawa language.

CSS 2019 result!
The result of central superior services (CSS) 2019 is out. The most disappointing and distress creating thing is that “Only 2.56% of candidates have passed the written exam.” CSS is considered as most superior and top class exam in Pakistan, but from a few years, the result has disappointed many aspirants. All around Pakistan, just 372 out of almost 15000 candidates have become able to pass just written test. Although the challenging situation for CSS aspirants is “Interview” where they have to face tough questions and scenarios related to current and previous knowledge. This disappointing result shows that the overall selection, after interviews will be around 1.2% or less.
Now the most frequently asked and raised question is that “why candidates fail to attempt paper correctly”. Do they take the test according to their level? Do the criteria and policies are normal and supportive? The low ratio shows that rather assessment of their papers is different from the candidates face at the Academy or their background is so weak. In CSS your educational background plays a very supportive role. If you are preparing from the start, and are provided with good and helping environment, you will never face any kind of hindrance to attempt paper.
Our educational system, especially of Sindh is down because of copy culture and depending on others. This creates gap between the candidate and his pure study, which finally cause decimating and depressed kind of results like we saw in CSS 2019. So, in order to compete and secure position in CSS exam, candidates should start working from the university life. They must focus on what can be supportive and good for them. They must ask from their seniors and mentors to help them in attempting paper. And the Federal government should also analyse that why they fail in catching many more candidates? They should set criteria according to the level and ability of aspirants. These all reforms can motivate CSS aspirants to do much more work and to come closer and closer to their destination.
