As many as 16,803 senior citizens have vaccinated against Coronavirus so far, in which first doze has been administered to 14,595 and second doze provided to 2,208 elderly persons.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali visited vaccination centre at Sports Complex Samanabad and reviewed the process of vaccination.
He inspected the seating arrangements for senior citizens in connection with the corona SoPs.
He talked with the senior citizens and enquired from them about the arrangements.
He also inspected the availability of drinking water and facility of washrooms.
He directed the duty officers and staff present on the spot to implement corona SOPs in the centre.
He said that the centres of Sports Complex Samanabad, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Samundari New Building, Sports Complex Chak Jhumra, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital New Building Tandlianwala and Rural Health Centre New Building Khurrianwala are under constant supervision while a strategy is being worked out to set up a new centre in city area.
ADCG Khurram Pervaiz, AC Saddr Umar Maqbool and other officers were also present.
