US CG visits NAPA to discuss various possibilities of collaboration

The Consul General of the United States ofAmerica in Karachi Conrad Tribble visited the National Academy ofPerforming Arts-NAPA the other day to discuss various possibilities ofcollaboration between the two organizations.He was received by the Chairman NAPA, Syed Jawaid Iqbal, along withboard members, former Senator Javed Jabbar, Anwar Rammal, Mahtab AkbarRashdi, Shahrukh Hasan, and Satish Anand, and CEO NAPA Junaid Zuberi.The two sides discussed matters of mutual interests in a meeting held incordial atmosphere.

Tribble expressed the desire of morecollaboration with NAPA.He also gave a detail of various cultural programs that the consulatewas undertaking in near future.He was briefed on the activities of the two NAPA departments, theaterand music, by respective department heads.The Chairman NAPA, later, presented the Consul General with the NAPAmemento.On this occasion, the Consul General also briefly attended a children’splay in progress at the Zia Mohyeddin Theater.
