Two persons were shot dead in two different incidents in various parts of district Attock on Monday. In the first incident, a man has shot dead his father for contracting second marriage in village Majhia in limits of Fatehjang Police station.
Police sources said the accused Hafeez Ur Rehman has exchanged hot words with his father Aabid for contracting second marriage against the consent of his family and later took out father’s pistol, shoot him dead and fled successfully.
Separately, a man was shot dead by unknown assailants shot dead a man near Qutab Bandi in limits of Hazro Police station. Police sources said that 35 years old Muhammad Ishaq was sitting in a hotel when two persons riding a motorcycle appeared on the scene showered bullets over him and fled successfully. The injured was rushed to THQ hospital where he succumbed to bullets injuries. Respective Police registered two separate cases and started further investigation.
