The police arrested 18 outlaws including two accused of murder, recovered arms, ammunition, drugs and liquor during separate actions here on Saturday.
According to details, Waris Khan police utilizing the latest technology and human intelligence arrested Usman and Luqman involved in murder of a man.
During crackdowns against drug peddlers in Gujar Khan, SaddarWah, Waris Khan Civil Lines, Pirwadhai and City police station jurisdictions, the police arrested eight drug peddlers including SaqlainHaider, TahirMehmood, Danish Junaid, Abdul Qayyum, HamzaUllah, Ikram, Muneeb, Noman, Umer and Abdul Sattar besides recovering over 8 kilogram hashish from their possession.
During separate actions in RattaAmral, Airport, Sadiqabad, Nasirabad and Taxil police station jurisdictions, the police arrested Hamza, Zahfran, Waseem, FasihAbbasi, SaimAbbasi, Waqar and Hashmat Ali with 20 litres liquor, four 30 bore pistols and ammunition. Separate cases against detainees were registered at respective police stations and investigations were underway.
