SSGC has been facing curtailed gas supplies from quite a few gas fields that have resulted in placing additional pressure on the system with our line pack getting badly affected.
The reason for reduced supply is due to unforeseen tripping in multiple gas fields, as a result of which there have been multiple complaints of low gas pressure.
In such situations, SSGC is now forced to implement gas load management plan by rationalising the use of gas whereby giving priority to the domestic and commercial sectors.
The current situation has been further compounded by the prevailing monsoon season that has hampered our customer service efforts to reach out to customers and solve their complaints on time.
Nonetheless, our Call Centre is working around the clock to ensure quickest possible redressal of complaints.
