The thrilling and interesting competitions of the Kabaddi, Bull Race and Dog Rabbit Race concluded with a big bang during on-going Traditional Games Festival (TGF) at Haripur District. Directorate General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was organizing the Traditional Games with the aim to keep alive the traditional games.
The most thrilling events including Kabaddi, Bull race, and Dog Rabbit Race were largely enjoyed by hundreds and thousands of spectators turned up at river bank village Kag and Painia ground that even hosted the Kabaddi contests.
Regional Sports Officer Ahmad Zaman, Deputy Director Sports Operations Jamshed Baloch graced the occasion as guests. They was accompanied by District Sports Officer Faisal Javed, Administrative Officer Muhammad Irshad, Chief Coach Shafqat Ullah, Provincial Kabaddi Association Secretary Sultan Bari, District Youth Officer Fahim, District Kabaddi Association Secretary Saeed Khan and a large number of dignitaries from the area.
Haseeb was declared the best player of the tournament when the Pania village team defeated Khanpur XI by 27-25 points in the thrilling Kabaddi final fought at a rattling pace. In the traditional games bull race there were a large number of spectators who enjoyed the thrilling battle.
According to the results, more than fifty owners participated in these competitions with bulls of Malik Owais got first, Jamil took second and Shehzad claimed third position, in the Dog Rabbit Race Muhammad Aslam Khan dog got first position, Jahanzeb dog took second.
