Three terrorists ‘sent to hell’, four injured in KP operation: ISPR

PESHAWAR – Pakistani forces have executed a successful operation in the terror-hit Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa region.

A statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations said three militants were gunned down and four others injured during an gun battle with security forces, who conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district.

ISPR said security forces conducted an operation on the reported presence of militants.

Armed forces also recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from dead militants, who remained actively involved in numerous terror activities against law enforcement agencies and civilians.

The army is conducting sanitisation operation to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area, ISPR said.

KP, and Balochistan saw uptick in terror attacks in last year while Pakistani forces intensified actions against the terrorism-hit areas and achieved success by restoring peace in the affected parts.
