The death of a young individual found on the rooftop of a commercial plaza in Lahore’s Defence C area has sparked controversy.
Punjab IGP, Dr. Usman Anwar on Wednesday has taken notice of the matter and requested a report from CCPO Lahore. In the event that the teenager was indeed murdered, the IGP has instructed the police to employ all accessible resources to apprehend the perpetrator(s).
Fourteen-year-old Usman was found from the rooftop of a plaza in the commercial area.
The victim’s mother was initially told that the boy was electrocuted, whereas she claimed that there had been clear torture marks on the body of her son. A case was registered on the complaint of victim’s uncle Sufyan. According to initial details, Usman went to buy mangoes from a nearby market on Saturday but didn’t return home.
