SZABM, PMDC conduct MDCAT retake in twin cities

On the orders of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) was retaken smoothly on Monday in twin cities. The exam was conducted under the supervision of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and by the ShaheedZulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) for aspiring medical and dental students.

According to the PMDC spokesperson, the examination was held in accordance with the highest standards of transparency and efficiency, ensuring a fair and impartial examination process.

The examination took place simultaneously at 27 national and international centers, two international centers in Dubai (UAE) and Riyad (Saudi Arabia) and twenty-five in Pakistan including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, GilgitBaltistan, Rawalakot, Muzaffarabad, and Mirpur, accommodating over 12 thousand candidates.

According to the PMDC, 60 candidates appeared in the test from Dubai, 64 Candidates from Riyad, 211 from Rawalpindi, 1,0428 from Islamabad, 329 from GilgitBaltistan, 400 from Rawalakot, 447 from Muzaffarabad, 629 from Mirpur appeared in the exam.
