SZABIST Annual Biosciences Conference (ZAB CON’19) was held on 12th -13th November 2019. This year’s conference was based on three main themes “Biosciences, Biotechnology and Public Health”. The speakers presented their papers on a very diverse range of topics including “Biotransformation of Pharmaceuticals for Cost-Effective Wastewater Treatment”, “Evaluation of antibiotic susceptibility and heavy metal tolerance of soil pigmented bacteria”, “Comparison of Oral Health Status Among Normal and Disabled Children of Karachi, Pakistan.” and many more. Chief Guest of the occasion was Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah, CEO of the Dr. Essa Laboratories. The event ended with shield and souvenir distribution.
