News reports claiming Pakistan refusing food to Hindus as Covid19 rages are baseless and fabricated. Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has shown extreme anger on fabricated news reports appearing in various media outlets, specially Indian media. In a statement here on Saturday he said Pakistan Hindu Council, in the Coronavirus outbreak, is closely monitoring the situation, and has not receive any such complaint by local Hindu community regarding discrimination, as claimed by Indian media. Dr Ramesh Vankwani further said that Pakistan Hindu Council, in its nationwide ration distribution drive, is also providing food items to deserving families, without any religious discrimination. Current Coronavirus outbreak situation reflects the anger of God, and thus, every person must learn from mistakes, perform prayers and to seek repentance. Dr Ramesh emphasized. He said that this critical time demands everyone to join hands in fight against common threat. “However, it is very unfortunate that some elements are trying to fulfill their vested interest by indulging in such negative activities,” he regretted. History will never forgive us if we keep preferring our temporarily benefits and blame game of politics on such sensitive issue, Dr Ramesh said. “This is time to promote tolerance, harmony and love to all, rather than spreading hatred and misunderstandings among the society,” Dr Ramesh stated. Dr Ramesh Vankwani also made an appeal for taking extreme care while expressing views regarding Coronavirus outbreak and other humanitarian crisis.
