SSP inspects traffic police vehicles

According to details, following the special directives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, initiatives are being taken to further improve the performance of Islamabad Traffic Police and provide them with all necessary resources they need, a public relations officer said.

He said that, following these directions, the SSP Traffic Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk inspected motorbikes used by the traffic police officials at the traffic headquarters and issued directives to ensure their safety and maintenance and urges to promptly rectify any defects.

He directed the Zonal DSPs to compile reports on vehicles, motorcycles, and other machinery within a day in their respective zones.

Additionally, he highlighted that special measures are being taken to provide Islamabad Traffic Police with more modern vehicles, motorcycles, and machinery to ensure that their performance is not affected.

He maintained that officers and officials performing well will be rewarded while those neglecting their duties will be penalized.
